Drop Dates: Pokémon and One Piece Releases to Mark in June–October 2026

June 16, 2026

If you haven't updated your release calendar lately, now is the time. Both Pokémon TCG and the One Piece Card Game have confirmed dates stacking up through the rest of 2026, and a few of them are close enough to matter for pre-order decisions right now.

Pokémon TCG: The Mega Evolution Arc Keeps Expanding

The biggest theme of Pokémon TCG in 2026 is unmistakably the Mega Evolution series. Mega Evolution – Perfect Order launched on March 27, 2026, and Mega Evolution – Rising Chaos followed worldwide on May 22, 2026 — a set that focuses on Mega Pokémon with cards like Mega Zygarde and Mega Clefable.

The next confirmed date is the one to circle in red: Pokémon TCG: Mega Evolution – Pitch Black is set to release on July 17, 2026. The expansion includes 6 Mega Evolution Pokémon ex, 4 Pokémon ex, 11 Illustration Rare Pokémon, and 18 Ultra Rare Pokémon and Trainer cards. That Illustration Rare count alone should get collectors paying attention — these are the cards most likely to carry long-term value in the current era.

The full list of every Pokémon TCG set to date runs through to Pitch Black, which Wargamer lists as the newest set coming in July 2026, so there is no confirmed set beyond it at this time. Keep watching for an August or September announcement if The Pokémon Company holds to its typical cadence.

One Piece Card Game: OP16 Just Landed, More Sealed Product Ahead

The English release of OP16 The Time of Battle and the ST30 Starter Deck EX Luffy & Ace both hit shelves on June 12, 2026 — so if you've been waiting to grab either, they're available now. OP16 is the current booster set, which means singles from it are still finding their market price.

Looking further out, Titan Cards lists Illustration Box Vol.7 (IB-07) and a Mini Case Set Vol.3 (TS-03) among upcoming One Piece releases, with TS-03 carrying a distributor listing of October 30, 2026. Illustration Boxes in particular have become popular sealed-product targets for collectors who want curated art pulls without committing to full booster cases.

Top Mover Spotlight: Moonbreon Umbreon VMAX

While eyes are on the new Mega Evolution wave, one older card continues to command serious secondary-market prices. Umbreon VMAX from Evolving Skies — universally nicknamed Moonbreon for its striking full-art moonlit illustration — currently sits at $2,181.42 ungraded and $4,633.08 in PSA 10 on Cardbrd. That gap between raw and graded prices is substantial, which tells you the collector market places a premium on pristine copies.

With each new high-art Pokémon set raising the bar for what collectors expect visually, Moonbreon remains the benchmark card everyone references. Track Moonbreon Umbreon VMAX on Cardbrd to watch how its price moves as Pitch Black approaches.
